This report presents a comprehensive overview of the 2024 environmental, social, and financial performance of the Free Closed Investment Fund for the Development of Dominican Infrastructures I, highlighting its role as a catalytic vehicle for sustainable development in the Dominican Republic. Managed by AFI Universal with CIFI AM acting as Advisor, the Fund drives long‑term investment into strategic infrastructure while aligning fully with international sustainability frameworks, including the IFC Performance Standards, the Equator Principles, the Paris Agreement, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As of 2024, the Fund reached DOP 14 billion (USD 250 million) in total size and achieved a combined 312 MW of installed capacity across solar, wind, and natural‑gas generation assets, contributing to the annual reduction of 258,215 tCO₂e and expanding access to essential services for approximately 390,422 people.

The report details the performance of the Fund’s four core projects, Parque Solar Canoa, Parque Eólico Los Guzmancito, Termoeléctrica SIBA, and the Blue Mall & JW Marriott complex, each demonstrating strong compliance with environmental and social standards and delivering tangible benefits to surrounding communities. In 2024, these investments collectively generated or sustained 2,632 jobs, reinforced national energy security, and supported the country’s commitment to increase renewable energy generation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The report also highlights strengthened risk‑management systems, enhanced ESG governance, and robust community engagement strategies implemented across the portfolio. Through transparent reporting and a long‑term vision, the 2024 Sustainability Report reaffirms the Fund’s mission of channeling institutional capital toward resilient, inclusive, and responsible infrastructure that contributes directly to the Dominican Republic’s sustainable growth and the well‑being of its citizens.
